This initially started out as an exercise to try and create some interesting stone patterns inside Substance Designer and I wanted to practice different ways to create and layer on different types of surface noises onto my material. I saw Liam Tart's dungeon stone floor (link below) and felt inspired to try and create something that had a similar feeling to it.
The procedural tiling nodes, that Substance Designer ships with, have a hard time generating patterns where each tile has a different X and Y value while still making sure that the edge of each tile meets up with another edge from another tile. Thanks to some help from a couple of friendly artists, I was able to find a slight workaround to get something that looked a little bit more natural than what I originally started out it :)
Thanks again to everyone who helped me figure this one out!
